Race winner Justin Wilson is one of two IndyCar drivers to have been issued with post-race penalties for technical breaches at Texas last weekend.
Wilson's team Dale Coyne Racing was docked five owner points and fined $7,500 for running a sidepod top deck that was not part of the permitted aero package for the Texas event.
Owner/driver Ed Carpenter meanwhile lost one entrant point and was fined $5,000 for using a rear-wing gurney flap than did not comply with the required dimensions.
The penalties do not affect the outcome of the race, and remain open to appeal in accordance with the series regulations.
